Free For 2 Funding – 2 year old funding

Some eligible 2 year olds may be entitled to 15 hours free funding. To see whether your eligible please visit https://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/childcare-and-pre-school/free-childcare.

If you are eligible, the funding will start the term after your child has turned 2.

3 & 4 Year Old Funding 

From the first term after your child’s third birthday, your child will be entitled to Universal 15 hours free funding at the Pre-School. To receive this funding you will need to fill out a funding form at the pre-school. Should you wish your child to start before their third birthday, or to do more than the Universal Funded 15 hours, you will be charged at the pre-schools current session rate of £6 per hour.

30 Hour Funding

We also offer 10, 30 hour free funding places. If you wish to claim this funding please contact Zoe Bedford-Cooper as soon as possible to secure a place. You will need to fill out the 30 hour section of your 3 & 4 year old funding form with your code and your NI number. We cannot process your funding without these. You will then have to re-enter your code every three months to KCC to check that your circumstances haven’t changed. If this is not re-entered on time or is forgotten you will not receive the extra funding for the term.
